3-8 Raffle Winners: Congratulations to Kind, Safe, & Responsible student winners!! 3rd – Hopson. 4th – none 5th – none 6th – Talan. 7th – none 8th –. none.
Special basket raffle winners: Hope, Kayla, & Kyle – all 6th graders.
Pennies for Patients Fundraiser: Linda Strauss and her ASAP kids are holding a Bake Sale this Sunday from 10:00-2:00 in our front parking lot. Pennies for Patients benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – so come support this “sweet” fund raiser.
See’s Spring Candy Fundraiser: Forestville Education Foundation is supporting our art, music, sports, and other programs with the See’s Candy Fundraiser. Forms, which are due March 11, were sent home and are available at both offices. Every student who sells $30 worth of candy will receive a See’s Classic Candy Bar! Make check payable to Forestville Education Foundation; candy delivered March 24 in Audi. For information, call or email Barbara Farrell at 887-0484 or bbcteam@yahoo.com.
Mulan, Jr. presented by Forestville Education Foundation: Disney’s Mulan, Jr. will be performed March 19, 20, 26 & 27 at 7:00pm and March 21 & 28 at 2:00 in our Multi. $7 tickets are available at the door. Mrs. Huberty is directing this wonderful musical based on the Story of Fa Mulan by Robert D. San Souci.
Congratulations 7-8th Basketball: Our 7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball team had great games at last week’s tournament. Kudos to all of you guys – good winning shot on Tuesday, Craig!!
7-8TH Scoliosis Screening: 7th graders will be examined today during 5th period and 8th graders during 6th period in room 110. If anyone has an opt-out slip from home, please turn in to teacher.
6-8th Hot Chocolate for Haiti: Mrs. Swanson’s and Mr. Anderson’s 7th grade history classes are joining forces to raise money to help with Haiti’s earthquake relief. They will be selling hot chocolate to 6-8th grades in the quad’s student store before school and during first break tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Forestville Band at El Molino H. S.: The El Molino Music Department invites everyone to a fabulous night of jazz and pasta featuring El Molino’s Jazz Ensemble, Concert Choir, and Encore Singers. Forestville and Guerneville school bands will also be playing for your entertainment. Mike Spediacci’s authentic Italian food will be served! Mark your calendars for Friday, March 12, 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at El Mo's Cafe Theater. The benefit includes a silent auction of local goods from area merchants. All money raised goes to support El Molino Music Department activities. Tickets are $15 Adults, $10 for students and $5 for performers. For tickets and information please call Kent Wilson at 824-6533. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
7-8th Dance at Guerneville: Fort Ross School is hosting a St. Patrick’s dance at Guerneville School this Friday, March 12 from 6:30-9:00. Cost is $5; permission slips in front of Academy Office MUST BE SIGNED BY MS. TAMZARIAN.
5-8th Band Student Info: 6/7/8 band is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:45 a.m. 5th grade band is Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:45 a.m. Please be on time to room 2.
Visitor/Parent Volunteer badges: All parent volunteers or visitors must check in at either office for badges.
Student Safety: There is a “Zero Tolerance” policy for any teasing, bullying or harassing. If anyone feels unsafe, we want to know about it through the school phone 887-2279 ext 123, or the Suggestion Box. There are Bullying & Teasing Cards next to the Suggestion Box in the foyer of Main Office. There are Requests to see the Principal Cards in the Academy Office.

Box Tops/ Soup Labels: Special Announcement – we are buying a new popcorn machine – yippee!! Why is it under Box Tops/Soup Labels??? We are going to pay for it with the money we receive from box tops YOU turn in. Please collect as many as you can. Ask your neighbors, friends, family members to help. The popcorn machine is expensive but worth it to our students and for all our events. Thank you!!!
