Mulan, Jr. presented by Forestville Education Foundation: Disney’s Mulan, Jr. starts this weekend!!! Shows are March 19, 20, 26 & 27 at 7:00pm and March 21 & 28 at 2:00 in our Multi. $7 tickets are available at the door. Mrs. Huberty is directing this wonderful musical based on the Story of Fa Mulan by Robert D. San Souci. Break a leg!
Mary’s Pizza Dine & Donate: Support our Academy Sports Program by grabbing a flyer and taking it to Mary’s Pizza in Sebastopol. Twenty per cent of purchases all day this Wednesday, March 17th will be donated to the program when you present the flyer with your order or purchase of a gift certificate. Bring in the attached flyer!
Santa Rosa Symphony Free Concert: Free tickets are available at the Academy office for this Saturday’s concert with the Santa Rosa Symphony playing Beethoven and Rouse at 2:00 at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts.
New Popcorn Machine: Forestville Education Foundation has a new popcorn machine on order for Forestville School and Academy! It is made in the USA and will take the place of the old machine which we’ve had since 1971. The Foundation has decided that every student is going to get the chance to help pay for it by collecting and turning in Box Tops! We need to collect 10,000 box tops by the end of the school year. You turned in 8,000 last year! 10,000 box tops = $1,000 which is what the new popcorn machine cost. Thank you for your continued support of the Forestville Education Foundation’s efforts.
3-5th & 6-8th Hot Chocolate for Haiti: Mrs. Swanson’s and Mr. Anderson’s 7th grade history classes are joining forces to raise money to help with Haiti’s earthquake relief. They will be selling hot chocolate for $1 to 3-5th grades outside room 10 (Art room) tomorrow, Wednesday & Thursday before school and morning recess. 6-8th grades can buy in the quad’s student store before school and during first break tomorrow and Wednesday. Yummy!!!!!!!
5-8th Band Student Info: 6/7/8 band is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:45 a.m. 5th grade band is Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:45 a.m. Please be on time to room 2.
Visitor/Parent Volunteer badges: All parent volunteers or visitors must check in at either office for badges.
Student Safety: There is a “Zero Tolerance” policy for any teasing, bullying or harassing. If anyone feels unsafe, we want to know about it through the school phone 887-2279 ext 123, or the Suggestion Box. There are Bullying & Teasing Cards next to the Suggestion Box in the foyer of Main Office. There are Requests to see the Principal Cards in the Academy Office.

Spring Play – Mulan Jr. – Please remember to attend the spring musical beginning on Friday, 3/19! There will be a snack bar at intermission!! Thank you for your support of our great drama program!!
Box Tops/ Soup Labels: Special Announcement – we are buying a new popcorn machine – yippee!! Why is it under Box Tops/Soup Labels??? We are going to pay for it with the money we receive from box tops YOU turn in. Please collect as many as you can. Ask your neighbors, friends, family members to help. The popcorn machine is expensive but worth it to our students and for all our events. Thank you!!!
